WICS-2222 ADA-Compliant Infection Control Hand Washing Sink
The Willoughby WICS-2222 ADA-Compliant Infection Control Hand Washing Sink is a single-user fixture designed to minimize the spread of infectious diseases in healthcare environments. Willoughby AquaSurf® lavatory fixtures are constructed of AquaSurf® cast polymer, antimicrobial resin—a stain-, impact-, and burn-resistant solid surface material. Standard WICS-2222 fixtures come with a deep, sloped sink basin with offset drain and high side-splashes; antimicrobial drain and tailpiece assembly; 1.5 GPM, 4CC, 3-1/2” gooseneck faucet and plumbing; and preassembled stainless steel mounting pedestal with one-piece stainless steel trap cover. Standard anchoring is from the front, through the mounting pedestal (anchoring hardware and adequate backing by others). The infection control sink can be ordered with a variety of optional features, including: alternative faucets, faucet hole drilling (for manufacturer-approved faucets), antimicrobial trap, plumbing, etc. All connections between the outside plumbing and the infection control sink are concealed within the stainless steel pedestal, with a secure access panel attached with security screws allowing access to all fixture plumbing and mounting points inside. The WICS-2222 fixture meets all applicable ADA and ANSI accessibility guidelines when mounted at the correct applicable rim height above the finished floor, and the sink design meets or exceeds the requirements of CSA Z8000 (certified to CSA B45, 5-11 / IAPMO Z124-2011 Harmonized Plumbing Standard).
