The new Joint Regional Correctional Facility will fill an important need at Joint Regional Base Lewis-McChord, which is home to nearly 45,000 service members and civilian workers. This 87,620-square-foot confinement facility will house approximately 150 inmates—along with space for vocational training—and includes major site work on utilities, paving, walks, curbs and gutters, parking, street lighting, storm drainage, information systems, recreational area, site improvements, HVAC, and comprehensive interior design, including furnishings, fixtures, and equipment. To help meet the correctional facility’s plumbing fixture budget without sacrificing security or quality, the new facility will feature stainless steel plumbing fixtures by Willoughby Industries.
