The new Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and Detention Center recently held their ribbon cutting/open house ceremony to celebrate the completion of construction. After the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office recognized the infrastructural issues associated with the previous facility built in 1985, they began planning this new facility. The 49,910 square foot facility will feature a 230-bed count and have additional space for programming, such as state-sponsored resources to help inmates reintegrate into society. To help meet the correctional facility’s plumbing fixture budget without sacrificing security or quality, the new facility will feature stainless steel plumbing fixtures and a water management system by Willoughby Industries.
