The new 168,000 square foot Ingham County Justice Center in Mason, Michigan, will house the jail—in addition to the County Sheriff’s Office and District Court. The jail portion of the project hit a major milestone recently with the installation of 123 prefabricated steel cells on top of the 23 masonry cells. The prefabricated cells in the 99,000 square foot, 416-bed jail contain a shower, toilet, sink, light, and table with seat—and all plumbing fixtures, complete with a WMSII state-of-the-art water management system, were supplied by Willoughby Industries.
