The Minnehaha County Jail in South Dakota recently underwent a $40M expansion. The expansion created a new intake unit, additional inmate beds, a medical unit, laundry, jail administration, and associated support services through a vertical expansion of a pre-existing building, substantial revamp of the jail’s main structure, and by adding a building. To help meet the new detention equipment budget without sacrificing security or quality, the facility features stainless steel plumbing fixtures by Willoughby Industries.
