Handicap Accessible

Willoughby CWSMSH-HCA wall showers are designed for commercial spaces that need more accessible single-user showering where no mechanical chase is available. Hard-to-reach plumbing can increase maintenance time, downtime, and labor costs. A hinged Type 304 stainless steel cabinet with factory-installed internal plumbing supports maintainable long-term service.

Technical Overview

The Willoughby CWSMSH-HCA Handicap Accessible, Hinged, Surface-Mounted Wall Shower is a single-user fixture for use in commercial environments without an accessible mechanical chase.

Hinged CWSMSH-HCA shower fixtures are fabricated from riveted 18 gauge, Type 304 stainless steel polished to a #4 satin finish. Standard CWSMSH-HCA fixtures come with (2) selected shower heads and valve assembly, with anchoring through the (3) cabinet hinges, secured through the (2) mounting tabs on the opposite side of the cabinet (anchoring hardware and adequate backing by others).

The CWSMSH-HCA hinged shower can be supplied with a variety of optional features including: valves, controls, plumbing, etc., all factory-installed within the shower fixture (unless noted). All connections between the outside plumbing and the fixture are made within the vandal-resistant, stainless steel cabinet. The CWSMSH-HCA shower fixture will meet most, but not all, ADA accessibility guidelines (see shower model CWSMS-ADA (non-hinged) for complete ADA compliance).
